Nestled in a valley of rolling hills
by the side of a river are some cotton mills
And it’s nigh on thirty years since they shut down
It was back in sixty-eight
that the factory finally closed it’s gates
And turned this place into a real ghost town

With no work to do folks moved away
and the town fell into a state of decay
